We are currently seeking a team member to join our office in Affton, MO. Founded in 1972, Inventory Sales Company is a premier distributor of all types of fasteners, strut channel and fittings, sign hardware and weld studs. We are service driven at ISC by having short lead times, a wide selection of products, and customized inventory programs. As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with customers by phone and email, receiving orders, and building and maintaining customer relationships. You will work closely with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and communication up to date. Your role will involve preparing quotations for various customers upon request, responding to customer requests promptly and efficiently, and tracking stock levels while setting up stock agreements with customers. You will confirm any scheduling and/or order changes with customers as needed and update them with the status of their activity. Additionally, you will investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries, assist customers in arranging payment terms with accounting approval, and enter orders into the computer system to prevent errors and omissions. You will also prepare and email technical literature to customers upon request, answer technical questions, investigate and process return requests for defective material, and review customer prints to offer possible part solutions. The position requires the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while monitoring account performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
