About the position

The Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative role at AirParts Aero focuses on supporting client accounts and assisting outside sales representatives in their sales efforts. This hybrid position requires strong communication skills and teamwork to effectively manage sales orders, validate part numbers, and ensure customer satisfaction in the aviation industry. The representative will also handle data entry into the company's ERP software and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Understand aviation, airplanes, parts, IPCs, and how things work in this industry.
  • Work together with direct sales professionals to comprehend the administrative and sales process.
  • Provide technical knowledge to present and potential clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through diligent support.
  • Arrange and ensure shipments for sales representatives' product demonstrations.
  • Handle somewhat difficult consumer calls professionally.
  • Sell goods and services via phone or online, meeting quotas and productivity requirements.
  • Administer product updates and agreement renewals for assigned accounts.
  • Generate leads by calling potential clients and manage sales of third-party components and services.
  • Respond to regular sales leads from various sources and create sales documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of experience OR In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must have an FAA license (A&P, Pilot, Dispatcher, or other).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language to ICAO 4.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.

Nice-to-haves

  • Any FAA license; Pilot (Private or Commercial), A&P, A&P IA, Dispatcher, P106.
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience in Microsoft Office, Excel SmartView, PowerPoint, HFM, SAP/Business Warehouse, Workday, AgilePoint, and Tableau.
  • HubSpot CRM and Odoo ERP experience.
  • Basic Microsoft PowerPoint/Excel knowledge.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Contract review experience.
  • Previous data entry experience.
