About the position

The Inside Sales/Application Engineer position is a full-time role based in La Porte, Texas, focused on providing exceptional customer support through various communication channels. The role involves managing quote inquiries from initial requests to order entry, problem-solving, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be proactive, persuasive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support customers via phone, email, and occasionally in person.
• Manage quote inquiries from request to order entry.
• Provide problem-solving and outstanding customer support.
• Perform significant data entry into the company's enterprise system and CRM.
• Promote the company using social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Assist in the shipping and receiving department as needed.

Requirements

• 4-10 years of customer service-related experience.
• Experience supplying products to instrument and electrical bulk package providers for large scale domestic and export projects in sectors including LNG, Oil & Gas, Power, and PetroChem is preferred.
• Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation, and self-discipline.
• Stable tenure in the majority of roles.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, and other CRM software.

• Bilingual is preferred.
