About the position

The Inside Sales Associate I at Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics is responsible for managing inbound customer inquiries related to DNA relationship testing products. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing information about services, and closing sales. The position allows for remote work after an initial training period, emphasizing a consultative sales approach and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Field 30-40 inbound calls per day requiring active listening and documenting customer details.
  • Quickly understand and analyze customer needs through a consultative sales approach.
  • Explain DDC's products and services in a professional manner via phone, email, text message, or chat.
  • Analyze the customer problem properly and provide logical solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with the intent of finalizing sales opportunities.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators stated in the Sales Compensation Plan including Closing %, Revenue Per Call, and Sales Quota.
  • Escalate customer needs that require additional knowledge or ability to leadership.
  • Research required information using available resources.
  • Attend training and coaching sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Able to document information in an application while on an active call.
  • Able to learn other database and communication software, as applicable.
  • Follow DDC procedures and guidelines to ensure that DDC's services are offered in a manner consistent with our mission and vision statements.

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of previous sales experience (retail, inside sales, or logistics).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening.
  • Ability to cope with difficult customer situations.
  • Results-driven and able to maintain and sustain individual and company goals.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer and typing skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to demonstrate and uphold the highest levels of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
  • Completion of HIPPA training.
