About the position

The Inside Sales Associate at DNA Diagnostics Center is responsible for managing inbound customer inquiries related to DNA relationship testing products. This role involves understanding customer needs, guiding them through the testing process, and closing sales. The position allows for remote work after an initial training period, providing flexibility while ensuring performance metrics are met.

Responsibilities

• Field 30-40 inbound calls per day requiring active listening and documenting customer details.
• Quickly understand and analyze customer needs through a consultative sales approach.
• Explain DDC's products and services in a professional manner via phone, email, text message, or chat.
• Analyze the customer problem properly and provide logical solutions.
• Communicate effectively with the intent of finalizing sales opportunities.
• Meet Key Performance Indicators stated in the Sales Compensation Plan including Closing %, Revenue Per Call, and Sales Quota.
• Escalate customer needs that require additional knowledge or ability to leadership.
• Research required information using available resources.
• Attend training and coaching sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Able to document information in an application while on an active call.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to actively listen and understand customer needs.
• Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in using computer applications for documentation and communication.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the healthcare or laboratory services industry.
• Familiarity with DNA testing products and services.
