About the position

The Inside Sales Associate II at ADI Global Distribution is responsible for increasing market share, uncovering new opportunities, and providing solutions to customer needs, fostering long-term partnerships. This role emphasizes customer account growth, performance targets, and exceptional customer service, contributing to the company's reputation as a leading distributor in the security and low-voltage products market.

Responsibilities

  • Grow Customer Accounts for Profit by meeting performance targets and increasing revenue.
  • Increase order size and customer transactions while leveraging pricing tools to improve margin percentage.
  • Identify opportunities to add new customers and convert purchases from competitors.
  • Manage existing accounts through steady communication using the Customer Database.
  • Make outbound calls to present leads and reach a minimum number of calls daily.
  • Build positive customer relationships and promote team sales within the ADI organization.
  • Educate customers about new products and product lines, staying updated on industry developments.
  • Maintain and update customer interactions in the tracking system.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and explain features and advantages in non-technical terms.
  • Create brand value by leveraging ADI resources, services, and programs to educate customers.
  • Provide exceptional shopping experiences in-store, by phone, and online.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of Sales Experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Desire to be in a Sales role and be accountable for Sales Revenue.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in the Retail / Hospitality / Customer Service Industry with negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of marketing skills.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management Tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Prior distribution experience.
