About the position

The Inside Sales Associate at Formula Corp is responsible for managing existing customer accounts, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and project management. This role requires a proactive approach to customer service and collaboration with internal teams to provide solutions and pricing adjustments as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for existing customer accounts.
• Resolve customer concerns in a timely and tactful manner.
• Understand and respond to customer needs by interfacing with internal personnel and departments.
• Review pricing, adjust, and communicate to customers when appropriate.
• Clarify and fulfill customer requests by presenting various options.
• Assist or lead project management initiatives to ensure customer needs are met.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior sales experience is helpful.
• Previous experience in the Industrial & Institutional Janitorial chemical industry is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
• Basic knowledge of computer and/or accounting systems and principles is required.
• Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel are necessary.
• Experience with SharePoint and Chempax ERP is a plus.
