About the position

The Inside Sales/Business Development Representative plays a crucial role in supporting sales, project management, and vendor coordination while procuring new suppliers. This position involves managing a wide customer base, including military installations and government contracts, and requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably with DoD/Military contracts. The representative will be responsible for researching and securing new business relationships while maintaining existing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales and project management activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and procure new suppliers.
  • Research and find new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and secure relationships with existing clients.
  • Provide sales support and logistics for projects.
  • Assist in marketing and service application for the DoD and other industries.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Experience working with DoD/Military contracts is preferred.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills.
  • Financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to use current tools and technologies effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in mechanical, plumbing, electrical equipment, and electronic systems.
  • CRM experience is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication and listening skills.
