We are looking for a driven, energetic, growth-minded Business Development Specialist for our Atlanta or Orlando Metro Offices! This is a fantastic, entry-level opportunity to launch your career with an established global company and industry leader. This is a full-time, hybrid position (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Relocation assistance may be available! As a Business Development Specialist, you'll use your knowledge of sales principles, practices, and techniques to prospect for new accounts and business via phone and e-mail. You'll develop a deep knowledge of our offerings and use it to effectively present our products, services, and features to clients. Your excellent interpersonal skills will be essential in maintaining and cultivating lasting relationships with existing accounts, ensuring their needs are met while increasing sales and share positions. You will make follow-up calls to existing clients to cross-sell and up-sell, as well as handle inbound prospects and convert them into sales. Additionally, you will develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential buying accounts and maintain/expand our database of prospects. Collaboration with your team to strategize creative, effective sales approaches will also be a key part of your role.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new accounts and business via phone and e-mail.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of Wilsonart's offerings to effectively present products, services, and features to clients.
  • Maintain and cultivate lasting relationships with existing accounts.
  • Ensure client needs are met while increasing sales and share positions.
  • Make follow-up calls to existing clients to cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Handle inbound prospects and convert them into sales.
  • Research and identify potential buying accounts to develop sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects.
  • Collaborate with the team to strategize creative and effective sales approaches.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of work experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., hospitality, retail sales, customer service, call center, field marketing, account management, sales).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and tenacious with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Coachable mindset and readiness to learn and grow.

Nice-to-haves
