The Lead Inside Sales Client Manager role is designed for individuals with significant inside sales experience. This transactional role focuses on current clients, providing opportunities to engage through programmatic use cases and digital channels to meet their technology needs. The Lead Inside Sales Client Manager is responsible for mining new sales opportunities within an assigned account list, utilizing a proactive and systematic approach to understand the client's implicit and explicit needs through the use of company tools and methodologies. This position also acts as an informal team lead, guiding others in the sales process. In this role, you will manage and grow relationships, driving expansion and renewals across all solutions, primarily foundational solutions, within assigned accounts. You will work to minimize churn and maximize retention, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the buying process. Your responsibilities will include generating demand by assisting clients in identifying their current needs and effectively articulating how our services and solutions can add value. You will utilize the company's sales tools and methodologies to manage accounts, opportunities, pipelines, and forecasts effectively. Presenting new and additional offerings to clients, communicating quotes, providing supportive sales documentation, and obtaining sales orders will also be key aspects of your role. Building strong relationships with clients and demonstrating knowledge of their environment will be essential for identifying opportunities for up-selling solutions and services. Success in this position requires a strong sales business acumen, focusing on planning, leveraging tools and data, and understanding the company's business requirements. You will need to develop skills to understand the client's business, including commercial and financial aspects, to bring value from our portfolio of services. Effective client engagement and management skills will be crucial for improving client relationships and driving sales growth. You will also need to possess sales solution skills, applying knowledge of our offerings, client applications, use cases, and market trends to position yourself as an expert client advisor. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate skills in sales pursuit, identifying and advancing opportunities at assigned prospects and clients, while coordinating internal and external resources to close sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and grows relationships and drives expansion and renewals across all solutions within assigned accounts.
  • Minimizes churn and maximizes retention in assigned accounts.
  • Drives client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the clients' buying process.
  • Generates demand by assisting clients to identify current needs and articulating how the company can add value through services and solutions.

  • Presents new and additional offerings to clients.
  • Communicates quotes, provides supportive sales documentation, and obtains a sales order where there is an opportunity to close a sale.
  • Builds relationships with clients and displays an interest in and knowledge of the client environment.
  • Identifies opportunities for up-selling of solutions and services and displays superior telephone etiquette.
  • Identifies sales opportunities by managing and growing revenue and expansion across solutions areas in the assigned accounts.
  • Complies with and adheres to pre-identified governance and compliance standards as outlined by the company and escalates identified problems for investigation and resolution.
  • Adheres to Finance standards and procedures to reduce costs and report associated risk.

Requirements

  • Significant demonstrated experience in a similar role in a similar environment.
  • Significant sales and client engagement experience.
  • Significant demonstrated experience negotiating with clients and vendors.
  • Significant demonstrated experience analyzing commercial information.
  • Relevant High School Diploma or Certification.
