About the position

As an Inside Sales Consultant/Physician Recruiter at Weatherby Healthcare, a division of CHG Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in connecting highly qualified locum tenens physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners with healthcare facilities across the United States. Your primary responsibility will be to reach out to doctors, primarily through phone communication, to understand their career aspirations and match them with appropriate healthcare facilities that require their services. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in an autonomous work environment and can adapt to an innovative and creative business model. We are looking for candidates who possess a strong work ethic, demonstrated by good job tenure, and who are comfortable navigating a long sales cycle. In this role, you will be expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing physicians and clients. You will negotiate contract terms and extend offers to physicians and clients, ensuring a smooth and professional process. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing a pipeline and database of potential candidates and clients, which is essential for achieving your sales targets. This position requires commuting to the Fort Lauderdale office twice a week, allowing for collaboration with your team and participation in company culture. We believe in fair compensation for all our employees, which is reflected in our pay structure that considers the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The pay range for this position is between $50,000 and $235,000 annually, depending on factors such as work location, knowledge, position level, and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter will provide more specific information regarding the salary range for your job location. Our compensation package includes total target compensation (TTC), which encompasses base pay, commission, and bonuses, ensuring that our sales positions are rewarded for their performance.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing physicians and clients
  • Negotiate contract terms with physicians and clients and extend offers
  • Maintain and grow pipeline and database of potential candidates and clients
  • Commute to the Ft Lauderdale office twice per week

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in sales, selling products or services
  • Experience with B2B and/or B2C sales
  • Strong hunter approach to sales with the ability to create, grow, and manage a book of business
  • Experience and comfort with making cold calls
  • Persuasive and influential written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take and give feedback
  • Leadership ambitions
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry (bonus, but not required)
  • Ability to meet individual KPIs while maintaining healthy competition among team members
  • A go-getter attitude with grit
