About the position
The Inside Sales Consultant at CORT is a full-time, onsite role focused on providing exceptional customer service and sales support to clients with temporary furniture needs. This position serves as the primary point of contact for a diverse range of customers, including students, professionals, and families, helping them navigate their rental options and ensuring a seamless experience. The role requires a high-energy, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys multitasking.
Responsibilities
- Consult with customers primarily via phone and email, and occasionally in-person to determine their budget, style preferences, timeline, and overall rental needs.
- Utilize computer programs to prepare proposals or designs, furniture lease agreements, schedule deliveries, and complete sales.
- Work with operations, administration, and customers to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Utilize professional sales skills to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business or additional revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Consulting, customer service, and/or sales experience (inside or outside).
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to multitask well and adapt to change in a fast-paced role.
- Experience engaging successfully with various types of clients.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in multi-housing, retail, hospitality, home staging, or furniture sales (not required, but a plus).
