About the position
Wieland is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to assist customers with quoting and fulfilling orders, ranging from baseline stock to specialty items. This role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the company, located in Roseville, MI, and requires a strong focus on communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Quoting and order processing of customer requests
- Entering customer purchase orders
- Completing credit card purchases
- Matching paperwork for all shipments and presenting to A/R for processing
- Correcting returns for credit shipments
- Processing metal service center quotes as assigned
- Working with machine center department for cycle times to use for quotes as assigned
- Acting as a technical representative for special bushings
- Assisting in purchasing with metal service center orders and specialty material needed for orders and inventory
- Performing all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HubSpot
- Excellent verbal and email communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
- Good judgment in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Ability to give written and verbal instructions to customers
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn the technical capabilities of products and parts
- Occasional lifting and carrying not to exceed 20 lbs.
