About the position

The Inside Sales Development Associate at CVS Health plays a crucial role in supporting the company's mission of helping people on their path to better health. This hybrid position focuses on lead generation, client interaction, and contract negotiation, ensuring a strong pipeline foundation for the Market-Based Sales Team. The associate will work closely with sales executives and other stakeholders to develop proposals, track marketing campaign effectiveness, and maintain data integrity in the customer relationship management system.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and contribute to pipeline development aligned with budget as measured by key performance indicators (KPI's).
  • Prioritize opportunities based on profitability, customer timelines, and market segmentation.
  • Track lead opportunities resulting from marketing campaigns and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Align overall sales strategy with Market Team Performance to budget.
  • Leverage the Omnicare Value Proposition to develop initial relationships with prospects.
  • Provide sales materials and strategy support for positive client interface during contract negotiation and closure.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for the Market-Based Sales Team.
  • Support efficient contractual negotiations using the salesforce contract initiation form (CIF).
  • Utilize customer relationship management system and available marketing tools effectively.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with Sales Executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Participate in pipeline reviews and discussions with management.
  • Assess risks and opportunities and create appropriate action plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive threats and share information to maintain market leadership.
  • Maintain data integrity in the customer relationship management system.
  • Participate in Trade Shows, Conventions, and other industry programs to source leads.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytic skills and solid business acumen.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers in a Windows/Microsoft Office environment, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Proven sales education or experience with a track record of achieving results.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree.
