The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads and developing a robust sales pipeline that aligns with the company's budget and key performance indicators (KPIs). This role involves strategic support for client interactions from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a quality pipeline foundation is established. The Inside Sales Representative will prioritize opportunities based on profitability, customer timelines, and market segmentation. They will track lead opportunities resulting from marketing campaigns, assess their effectiveness, and take necessary actions to follow up on potential leads. The role also requires effective collaboration with the Market-Based Sales Team to align sales strategies with team performance and budgetary goals. The representative will leverage the Omnicare Value Proposition to build initial relationships with prospects, ensuring that appropriate sales materials and strategies are provided to support positive client interactions. In addition to lead generation, the Inside Sales Representative will assist in preparing proposals and presentations, support contractual negotiations, and maintain data integrity within the customer relationship management system. Regular participation in pipeline reviews and discussions with management and key stakeholders is expected, along with ongoing assessment of risks and opportunities in the market. The representative will also be responsible for maintaining professional knowledge through workshops and industry engagement, ensuring they stay informed about competitive threats and market leadership status.
