About the position

The Inside Sales Development Representative at GE Vernova plays a crucial role in connecting customers with GE Digital's technologies, focusing on the West region automation market. This position involves qualifying inbound leads, prospecting new accounts, and collaborating with sales and solution architect teams to build a robust sales pipeline. The representative will engage with customers and systems integration partners to book sales meetings, contributing to the company's mission of decarbonization and production optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver a point of view on how GE Digital can help prospective customers
  • Navigate complex organizations to find the right prospects and deliver compelling value propositions
  • Leverage sales tools to effectively manage inbound leads through emails, calls, and social selling techniques
  • Collaborate across sales and marketing to set meetings with new customers
  • Achieve monthly meeting goals and report them verbally and in writing
  • Continuously learn about GE Digital products and their value
  • Articulate the value GE Digital brings to the market in all communications
  • Overcome common sales objections to develop compelling conversations
  • Conduct research to stay informed about existing and new markets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in B2B software sales
  • Technical degree (engineering or business IT preferred) or a minimum of 2 years' sales experience in B2B software sales
  • Interest or expertise in cold calling
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and technological proficiency (MS Office, Salesforce, Outreach)
  • Outcome-driven team player
