In this role, you will be responsible for qualifying and nurturing leads within existing accounts and new prospects. You will manage a high volume of opportunities and transactional sales, representing your role in our team’s value-added sales approach. Daily communication with prospects will be essential, utilizing outbound contacts through phone calls and emails to maintain proactive engagement. You will assess the needs of prospects within the broad scope of HBK's physical properties applications and interact with customers during marketing promotions and events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, preferably with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), or another technical discipline in engineering or physical sciences. Experience in selling products related to acoustics, sound/vibration measurement, instrumentation, and test and measurement products is highly desirable. You should be self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the technical ability to learn a diverse product line, are crucial for success in this role. Additionally, experience with system integrators and industries such as heavy equipment, agriculture, electric power measurement, or motor/inverter industries will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Qualifying and nurturing leads within existing accounts and new prospects
  • Managing a high volume of opportunities and transactional sales
  • Proactively maintaining communication via outbound contacts (phone calls and email) on a daily basis
  • Assessing prospects' needs within the broad HBK physical properties application scope
  • Interacting with customers in marketing promotions and events

Requirements

  • ME or EE degree or other technical degree in an engineering or physical science discipline strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge and/or experience selling acoustics, sound/vibration measurement, instrumentation, test and measurement products, sensors
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle numerous parallel tasks and projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical ability to learn diverse product line
  • Experience in demonstrating technical products
  • Experience dealing with system integrators, heavy equipment, agriculture, electric power measurement or motor/inverter industries is a plus
  • Successful history working from home office with minimal supervision is a plus

Benefits

  • Annual salary ranging from 70k-100k USD, depending on experience
