Randstad US is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join a manufacturer in Ladson, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have 2-3 years of engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing or chemical facilities. This role is designed for a professional with an outgoing personality and a strong customer-centric focus, who is eager to grow within a global leader in bespoke engineered and manufactured products. The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year, along with relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package. As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for interacting with assigned key accounts, establishing excellent relationships, and managing sales activities for various product lines. You will work on key account-related statistics, develop quotes and supporting documentation, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction. The role may require domestic and international travel to support sales efforts, perform customer site assessments, attend trade shows, and engage in in-depth training. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will act as a Project Manager for engineering bid packages and orders, overseeing projects from inception to completion. This includes ensuring customer satisfaction with product quality, delivery timelines, and supporting documentation. You will also communicate with various departments and subsidiaries to provide the best customer support, both technical and commercial, and offer assistance to regional managers and representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with assigned key accounts and establish excellent relationships.
  • Manage sales activity for the product lines.

  • Prepare quotes and supporting documentation, and follow up with customers.
  • Conduct after-sales communication with customers.
  • Act as a Project Manager on engineering bid packages/orders, overseeing projects from beginning to end.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with product quality, delivery time, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with all departments and applicable subsidiaries for best customer support.
  • Provide technical/commercial support to regional managers/representatives.

Requirements
