About the position

The Inside Sales Leader at Snappy Kraken is a full-time, in-person role focused on leading and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets. This position combines strategic direction with hands-on execution in a dynamic SaaS environment, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. The role emphasizes coaching, team development, and optimizing sales processes to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of inside sales representatives (Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives) to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Refine and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems that drive deal velocity and bookings.
  • Own and optimize sales processes, systems, and tools to ensure team efficacy.
  • Recruit, onboard/enable, and train new sales team members in alignment with the sales growth strategy, including refining the sales onboarding program to reduce ramp-up time.
  • Foster a culture of motivation and success by implementing development plans that encourage individual growth and positive team energy.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the sales process, address bottlenecks, and improve efficiency.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between Marketing, Product, Customer Success and other internal teams.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to refine strategies to maintain competitive messaging.

Requirements

  • Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) company is required including familiarity with SaaS-specific metrics like ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, and CAC.
  • Proven success as an individual contributor and leader, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop individuals to achieve or surpass their KPIs.
  • Proficiency with sales enablement tools (eg. Gong), CRM systems (eg. Salesforce, Hubspot) and performance tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of managing B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in coordinating sales strategies with marketing, with a focus on lead generation and qualification.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Exposure to the financial services industry is an asset.
  • Strong asynchronous communication ability.
  • Tech-Savvy and highly comfortable producing both in person and in a virtual environment working with remote communication software.
