About the position

The Precision Pathology Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing a defined set of AmeriPath (AMP) accounts through outbound sales efforts. This role focuses on building relationships with clients and upselling oncology franchise tests, primarily in a remote capacity, with occasional fieldwork expected. The ideal candidate will reside within the Eastern Time Zone and will be tasked with ensuring high-quality service and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Target and retain profitable AMP business by effectively managing an assigned set of AMP accounts.
  • Build relationships and secure business with assigned AMP clients.
  • Provide overall support and expertise to ensure clients receive the highest level of quality service.
  • Develop a territory plan to retain and grow existing AMP accounts.
  • Upsell oncology franchise testing to existing AMP accounts.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Account Executives to transition and grow accounts effectively.
  • Educate customers on all Quest and AMP Diagnostics processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids using standard processes and templates.
  • Stay informed about marketplace changes impacting customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products and competitors' offerings and share insights with sales leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and government regulations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years business to business sales experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, pathology, and oncology screening/testing.
  • Formal sales process training, e.g., challenger sales.
  • Solid PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.
