About the position

The Precision Pathology Inside Sales Manager is responsible for retaining and growing a defined set of AmeriPath (AMP) accounts through outbound sales calls, building relationships, and upselling oncology franchise tests. This largely remote position requires occasional field work and aims to provide high-quality service to clients while ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Retain and grow a defined set of AmeriPath (AMP) accounts through outbound sales calls.
  • Build relationships and upsell oncology franchise tests to existing AMP accounts.
  • Provide overall support and expertise to assigned AMP clients.
  • Develop a territory plan to retain and grow existing AMP accounts.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Account Executives to transition and grow accounts effectively.
  • Educate customers on Quest and AMP Diagnostics processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids using standard processes and templates.
  • Stay informed about marketplace changes impacting customers and maintain knowledge of company products and competitors.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and government regulations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years business to business sales experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, pathology, and oncology screening/testing.
  • Formal sales process training, e.g., challenger sales.
  • Solid PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and general economics of business.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required).
  • Driver's License (Required).
