TW Metals is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our team in Toledo, OH. The Inside Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving profitable growth through innovative sales management techniques. This position is responsible for managing and leading sales activities within a designated territory, ensuring that sales budget targets are established and maintained. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of market conditions, key customers, and competitive dynamics, allowing them to identify and capitalize on market opportunities that align with our product and service offerings. In this role, the Inside Sales Manager will assist in developing new markets and will work closely with customers and representatives from associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services. The successful candidate will coordinate sales activities in accordance with established policies and procedures, developing plans for the efficient use of resources to ensure a profitable business that meets our objectives. Performance will be measured based on Gross Profit Dollars and the accuracy of sales forecasts compared to actual results. Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain sales budget targets for the branch
  • Possess knowledge of market conditions, key customers, and competitive conditions
  • Identify market opportunities that complement current products and services
  • Assist in developing new markets and confer with customers and representatives of associated industries
  • Evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in the area
  • Coordinate sales activities in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Develop plans for efficient use of resources and a profitable business
  • Measure performance based on Gross Profit Dollars and forecast vs. actual results
  • Commit to quality performance through teamwork and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in business administration or related area
  • Five years related industry sales experience
  • Well-developed sales management skills
  • Understanding of branch objectives
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn mainframe program (Metalware)
  • Ability to comprehend concepts of moderate to high difficulty
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
