About the position

The Inside Sales Manager at Zunex Pest Control is responsible for leading the sales team to drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and customer retention efforts. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in technology sales, capable of analyzing market trends and optimizing sales processes using Salesforce. The ideal candidate will also focus on building and motivating the team while ensuring exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue through lead conversion and upselling opportunities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of inbound and outbound sales calls, emails, and other communication channels to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure the team effectively follows up on leads generated by marketing campaigns and converts them into sales.
  • Oversee and lead customer retention efforts, ensuring that the team engages with customers expressing a desire to cancel and provides solutions to retain them.
  • Develop and lead win-back campaigns targeting canceled customers, providing the team with strategies to reactivate lapsed accounts.
  • Monitor and track the performance of win-back campaigns, reporting on reactivation rates and feedback received from former customers.
  • Work closely with team members to minimize cancellations and maximize customer retention by addressing customer concerns effectively.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, retention efforts, and customer feedback to the Head of Sales/Head of Operations.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine sales and retention strategies, ensuring continuous growth in sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report the performance of individual sales representatives, offering recommendations for improvement when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
  • Work closely with customer service and field technician teams to ensure seamless communication and high-quality service delivery across departments.
  • Act as the liaison between the inside sales team and senior leadership, ensuring that team needs and successes are communicated effectively.
  • Ensure that the team maintains up-to-date knowledge of all pest control services, products, and treatments to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers by ensuring the inside sales team delivers exceptional service throughout the sales and retention processes.
  • Monitor the use of the company's CRM system to ensure that customer data is entered accurately and up-to-date for sales, retention, and reporting purposes.
  • Train and coach sales representatives on product knowledge, sales techniques, and retention strategies.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement and development within the team.
  • Handle the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of new inside sales representatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inside sales management or a related field, preferably in technology or sales.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is essential.
  • Strong telemarketing skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with strong negotiation abilities.
  • A deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is highly desirable.
