About the position

The Product Support Inside Sales Representative (ISR) Manager at Cleveland Brothers is responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives to achieve sales goals and enhance customer relationships. This role involves developing sales strategies, mentoring team members, and collaborating with various departments to maximize business opportunities. The ISR Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ISRs to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and training to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Ensure the team provides exceptional customer service and builds strong lasting relationships with customers.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with sales leadership, marketing, and parts/service teams to ensure alignment on sales goals and strategies.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the sales team.
  • Stay informed about market/industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Oversee the use of CRM tools to manage customer interactions, sales data, and opportunity management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of industry-related sales experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a sales leadership role preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of sales skills necessary to sell a premium priced product.
  • Ability to develop and maintain product knowledge of Caterpillar and Cleveland Brothers solutions.
  • Proven competence in personal disciplines, relationship skills, strategic selling, and tactical selling.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and evaluate customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Ability to quickly identify problems and develop creative solutions to complex issues.
  • Proven competence in oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter.
