The Inside Sales Manager will play a crucial role in developing and qualifying new sales leads for the sales organization. This position is based in Danbury, Connecticut, and will report to the Sr. Director of Strategy & Market Intelligence within the Commercial Operations organization. The primary focus of the Inside Sales Manager will be to identify, qualify, and nurture inbound generated leads, distributing qualified leads to the appropriate salesperson. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within our customer base and within our organization is fundamental to the success in this role. The Inside Sales Manager will also support the outside sales team as required, assist the larger commercial operations team in developing customer proposals, presentations, and market research, and support the business in negotiating and closing complex sales contracts. Additionally, this role will involve assisting with CRM system opportunity entry, management, and dispositioning, ensuring all opportunities are up to date and accurate. To excel in this position, the Inside Sales Manager will need to develop an in-depth understanding of FuelCell Energy products, services, and value propositions. Engaging in regular training and self-learning to ensure proficiency in educating customers on FuelCell Energy solutions is essential.
