In this role, you will directly supervise and maintain high performance within a team of Account Managers who are responsible for processing sales orders and managing order fulfillment for their customers. You will serve as a liaison between your customers and internal departments, ensuring that missing information is obtained, demand changes are updated, and internal issues affecting delivery schedules are addressed and communicated effectively. Your personal responsibilities will include processing RFQs and developing quotes, taking into account cost data from Engineering and other relevant factors to ensure that target margins are achieved. Additionally, you will track site KPIs and produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for sales and business unit managers. You will also participate in managing NPI timelines in coordination with Engineering to ensure on-time new product introduction. Maintaining a positive customer relationship is crucial in this role, which includes developing a deep understanding of the customers' needs and serving as the escalation point for resolving commercial and relationship issues with customers, such as quality, delivery, accounts receivable, and billing. You will positively influence and collaborate with internal departments as needed to meet customer expectations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing the Sales Plans for the division based on customer demand.
