About the position

The Inside Sales Manager at Woodgrain is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the inside sales team at the Distribution Center. This role involves coaching and developing team members, maintaining personal sales territory assignments, and ensuring adherence to processes and procedures. The manager will foster a strong team culture while driving sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of inside sales representatives.
• Coach and develop team members to build capabilities and future leaders.
• Maintain personal sales territory assignments while managing the team.
• Implement best practices for account management and service.
• Ensure samples are in stock and available for representatives and customers.
• Track call volume and order entry for inside sales employees.
• Assist with the return process and coordinate with customers.
• Schedule training for the Inside Sales team with vendors.
• Monitor OEZRL reports and inform customers of delays.
• Drive positive growth on complete and on-time metrics.
• Liaison between Home Depot accounts and the Newington Branch.
• Manage scheduling and ensure proper parts are ordered.
• Collaborate with operations staff to strengthen partnerships.
• Report lost sales, excess inventory, and potential sales spikes.
• Encourage strong usage of the CX system.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to master ERP and CX software.
