About the position

The Inside Sales Manager at The Chefs' Warehouse is responsible for overseeing and enhancing all sales activities within the assigned district. This role involves leading a sales team to achieve maximum profitability and growth while aligning with the company's vision and values. The manager will develop strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to training programs for both clients and sales associates.

Responsibilities

• Train, lead, and support the existing internal sales team.
• Develop short-term incentive programs to keep the internal sales team motivated.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources Department to create performance improvement plans, including promotions.
• Create an optimal schedule for the internal sales team to support the best customer service.
• Organize the reception area to provide a warm welcome to guests.
• Manage the Non-Stock Item (NSI) process, approving reorder requests from sales representatives.
• Conduct weekly meetings with Regional Sales Managers to approve or reject NSI requests.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of sales management experience in the food service industry.
• Local residency in the defined geographic area is preferred.
• Experience in the food service sector is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of Relationship Management.
• Strong understanding of customer dynamics and requirements in the food service market.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate with food service professionals.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and skill in directing a sales team in the food service sector.
