About the position

The Inside Sales Manager will oversee the inside sales team, nurture customer relationships, and manage high-impact national accounts. This role involves both day-to-day and strategic sales activities, working across departments to strengthen client partnerships and support aggressive growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the inside sales team and manage high-impact national accounts.
  • Nurture customer relationships and ensure contract terms align with revenue and profit goals.
  • Prepare competitive bids, quotes, and pricing for customers.
  • Track performance metrics and prepare monthly reports to analyze product performance.
  • Implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Negotiate favorable terms for annual contract renewals and pricing adjustments.
  • Mentor and lead team members to foster their success and development.
  • Proactively solve complex challenges with high emotional intelligence and adaptability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment or outdoor lighting industry.
  • Experience leading an inside sales team and handling customer service challenges.
  • Strong ability to build and sustain relationships with key accounts and OEMs.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing and contract terms effectively.
  • Direct leadership experience with a focus on team mentoring and development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the outdoor lighting industry.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and performance tracking.
