About the position

As an Inside Sales Manager at Worldpay, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dynamic team responsible for driving sales and expanding our customer base. Your leadership will encompass planning, coaching, recruiting, and mentoring team members to ensure they meet their performance goals. You will prioritize and allocate resources effectively, monitor staff performance, and collaborate with employees to implement goals while documenting their progress. Additionally, you will be involved in approving incentive compensation calculations and addressing employee-related issues in partnership with The People Office. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the sales activities related to our products and services, developing new accounts, and expanding existing ones. You will direct resources in a cost-effective manner, assisting inside sales representatives in utilizing tools and resources effectively. Establishing financial goals and objectives will be part of your role, as you develop sales plans and strategies to achieve team goals and revenue objectives. You will also conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify critical market segments and recommend strategies for improvement in inside sales. In this position, you will implement and execute inside sales policies and practices, prepare production reports for senior management, and participate in building and pricing strategies to meet market needs. Monitoring client survey results to ensure positive relationships and satisfaction will be crucial, as will encouraging your team to engage in educational opportunities to enhance their skills. You may also assist inside sales representatives in achieving revenue goals by developing tactical and strategic plans to create and close product/service opportunities. This role may involve other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership for area of responsibility including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development, and mentoring.
  • Prioritizes and allocates resources.
  • Monitors staff performance, works with employees to implement goals and document progress, approves incentive compensation calculations, and works with The People Office on employee related issues.
  • Responsible for activities involved in selling products and/or services, developing new accounts, and/or expanding existing accounts.
  • Directs resources in a cost-effective, innovative manner including assisting inside sales representatives in effective use of resources and tools.
  • Participates in establishing financial goals, objectives, and measurements to meet growth targets.
  • Develops sales plans, goals, strategies, and objectives to achieve team goals and revenue objectives.
  • Identifies critical market segments through market research and competitor analysis and recommends inside sales strategies for improvement.
  • Implements and executes inside sales policies and practices.
  • Prepares inside sales production reports for senior management.
  • Participates in building, packaging, and price setting with members of management to meet market needs.
  • Monitors client survey results to ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction and responds to any negative criticism.
  • Encourages staff to participate in product/service as well as industry related educational opportunities to strengthen and improve skill levels and ability to service customers.
  • May assist inside sales representatives in attaining revenue goals including the development of tactical and strategic plans to create and close product/service opportunities.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
