About the position

The Inside Sales Manager at Benz Tooling by Schenck is responsible for driving sales in the machine tooling sector. This role requires strong sales experience, particularly in tooling and a background in manufacturing. The Inside Sales Manager will engage with customers, prepare sales reports, generate quotations, and provide technical support as needed. The position offers a hybrid work option and emphasizes employee engagement and recognition.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and submits sales reporting from Sales Force as requested.
• Generates standard quotations and other sales documentation.
• Executes follow-up phone calls and emails within a timely manner following the issuance of new quotes.
• Maintains a schedule of customer orders with defined delivery dates from the organization.
• Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
• Recommends specific standard or modified machine best suited for customer's use.
• Provides or arranges for technical support, training and consultant services to customer as needed.
• Executes arrangements for participation in industry trade shows, exhibits, and professional associations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in tooling or technical goods and services; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience with generating quotations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication, math, and computer skills.
• SAP and Sales Force experience preferred.
