The primary purpose of this role is to lead a team of inside sales representatives who will grow the spend of underserved or inactive Pro customers who are currently not assigned to outside reps or pro-desk associates. This will be accomplished by building relationships with Pro customers and leveraging opportunities to deploy product and account management solutions, resulting in sales gains. Inside sales managers manage the day-to-day operations of Lowe's inside sales team. They train inside sales associates, prepare regular sales forecasts, and ensure that inside sales associates complete a set number of tasks per day. Essential Functions include providing leadership to the team by attracting and hiring talented individuals, setting goals, and communicating clear expectations. The manager will provide timely and constructive feedback as well as meaningful developmental opportunities, manage performance, provide resources and support as needed, and sponsor and lead team members through change. Weekly team meetings and one-on-ones with the team are held to ensure alignment and accountability. The inside sales manager is accountable for the growth of the overall team's portfolio to drive Pro sales and meet all assigned sales objectives. They will attend virtual customer visits with sales reps to provide coaching and proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts in conjunction with sales personnel managed. This role also provides a management-level point of contact for key customers and builds and maintains strong customer relationships. Additionally, the manager will build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key leadership positions, establish productive relationships with field partners based on frequent communication, collaboration, and the effective allocation of time and resources. They will recommend and implement improvements to current sales processes and procedures as needed, address and resolve customer issues to drive customer satisfaction, and ensure the inside sales team is utilizing all tools to manage their portfolios, including but not limited to CRM.
