About the position

Prince Rubber & Plastics Co., Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Inside Sales Office Manager to join our team at our head office located in the beautiful Audubon Business Park in Amherst, NY. This role is crucial for our operations as we design and manufacture corrosion-resistant rubber and thermoplastic parts for the chemical processing industry worldwide. The Inside Sales Office Manager will be responsible for directing and supporting the Order Processing personnel, ensuring that all computer entries are accurate and timely. This position involves composing and forwarding quotations, engaging in sales discussions with customers, and evaluating and negotiating sales agreements. The successful candidate will also develop terms of inquiries with suppliers and expedite orders with both internal and external supply chains. In addition to these responsibilities, the Inside Sales Office Manager will organize inquiries for shipping quotations and perform typical customer service duties. This role requires close collaboration with upper management, suppliers, and various departments within the company to create custom proposals and determine product pricing. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and have a technical aptitude. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential. The candidate will also interface with the company’s business software and engage with all departments across the organization. A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with at least one year of experience in an inside sales role, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Compensation for this role includes an hourly rate, profit-sharing plan, 401K, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), medical benefits, and paid time off, including paid holiday days.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support Order Processing personnel including computer entries.
• Compose and forward quotations to customers.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical ability and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in inside sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment (1 year preferred).
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
