About the position

The Inside Sales Professional (ISP) at Mingledorff's Inc. is responsible for identifying and serving customer needs, assisting them in obtaining products or information, and providing excellent customer service. This role involves processing customer orders, supporting long-term business relationships, and promoting products and services while ensuring a professional atmosphere in the sales facility.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders received in person, by phone, fax, and E-Commerce.
• Locate parts, equipment, and supplies for customers from various sources.
• Support long-term business relationships with customers to promote sales growth.
• Assist in warehouse duties, including pulling customer orders and putting away stock while occasionally operating a forklift.
• Promote new and existing products, upgrades, and services to customers.
• Assist customers with technical support and problem-solving.
• Identify prospective customers through store or phone sales and communicate prospects to the sales team.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere of the sales facility by restocking and maintaining showroom shelves and product displays.
• Process warranties and assist in maintaining accuracy of physical inventory through Cycle Counts.
• Make occasional deliveries using a company vehicle.
• Participate in after-hours On Call and Training classes, and work overtime as assigned.
• Work cooperatively with others and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• 2 years of experience in the HVAC industry, preferred.
• Proficient in computers, including MS Office.
• Forklift experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies.
• Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy.
• Qualify under federal and state regulations to drive the vehicle in question.
