About the position

The Inside Sales Relationship Manager at Heartland Payment Systems is responsible for selling merchant services to businesses, managing client relationships, and identifying revenue opportunities. This role involves customer presentations, account management, and maintaining client records in the CRM system. The position requires a proactive approach to sales and a strong understanding of the payments industry.

Responsibilities

  • Sell merchant services offerings to businesses.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct customer presentations and account sign-ups.
  • Respond to inbound customer calls and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain client records in the CRM system, including call notes and scheduled interactions.
  • Keep management informed of all sales activities and prepare reports.
  • Continuously build knowledge of current product/service offerings and industry developments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales.
  • B2B sales experience and cold calling experience preferred.
