About the position

The Inside Sales Representative/Account Manager at Amtraco is responsible for driving sales and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while also pursuing new prospects. This role emphasizes the importance of effective communication, persuasion, and follow-up skills to convert leads into customers in the surface finishing industry. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop rapport and maintain strong working relationships with existing customers and prospects.
  • Articulate ideas clearly and concisely to customers.
  • Utilize excellent persuasion skills to influence customer decisions.
  • Follow up diligently with prospects, understanding that multiple contacts are often necessary to close sales.
  • Leverage the customer service team to ensure customer needs are met and no details are overlooked.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven sales success or demonstrated discipline and drive to succeed in sales.
  • Experience in a business-to-business sales environment is required.
  • Mechanical knowledge and aptitude are preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in various software applications are necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential.

  • Experience in the surface finishing industry is a major plus.
