About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at Action Gypsum Supply LP is responsible for providing customers with product and service information to assist them in making informed purchasing decisions. This role involves recommending additional products or services, developing new prospects, and maintaining superior customer service through effective communication and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Sale of residential and commercial interior building products by phone and in-person counter sales.
• Build long-term customer relationships by providing price quotations, taking material orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Learn product features and customer benefits for major product categories and be conversant on their applications.
• Educate customers on new products and suggest relevant products for their projects.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and assist outside sales representatives with account management.
• Order and follow up on special order materials.
• Stock showroom shelves as needed and keep the tool room organized and stocked.
• Help with inventory and inventory cycles when required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other basic computer programs.
• Customer Service experience.
