About the position

As an Inside Sales Associate at L&W Supply Corporation, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their building material needs. This position combines customer service with sales expertise, ensuring that clients receive the right products for their projects while fostering long-term relationships. Your responsibilities will include providing product knowledge, coordinating deliveries, and contributing to sales strategies, all while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in developing L&W solutions to meet their needs
• Discuss features and benefits of products and services
• Establish rapport with new customers and nurture relationships with long-term customers
• Solicit feedback from customers on products and services
• Coordinate delivery requests to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Assist in the development of branch sales plan and strategy
• Assist in the design and execution of merchandising strategy
• Determine customers' needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions, up-selling additional products and supplies for each job
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails to assist customers in a timely manner
• Accept payment and apply it to the appropriate customer account
• Arrange with the warehouse for customer product pickup
• Reorder products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Address and resolve service concerns, should they arise

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience with interior building products is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service oriented
