About the position

The Inside Sales Representative/Account Manager position at Hawk Research Laboratories offers an excellent opportunity for a career-minded individual to develop their sales career within a rapidly growing company. This role is primarily phone-based with limited travel, focusing on recruiting and developing new customers while nurturing and growing sales within the existing customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming new customer enquiries providing technical information, price quotations, promotional and marketing materials, product availability and samples.
  • New lead qualification and prioritization via follow up and questions.
  • Execute customer nurturing follow up activities, including additional phone and e-mail contact, sample follow up, and encouraging ongoing collaboration.
  • Prospect dormant customers to assess if there have been losses to competition, investigate new growth opportunities, and maintain frequent touchpoints with the customer base.
  • Engage with existing customers to strengthen incremental revenue growth and develop up-selling opportunities.
  • Provide technical information and refinishing advice for existing and new customers.
  • Manage and profitably grow sales at assigned customer base.
  • Documentation of all new and existing customer contacts and activities in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with different functional areas such as Customer Service, Supply Chain, QC, Technical Support, and Business Management to ensure a positive and profitable customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 years sales experience, preferably in an inside sales role.
  • Excellent communication skills, including a clear and pleasant phone demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with information systems tools.
  • Strong sense of urgency and customer service orientation.
  • Good multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the commercial painting market or other contractor services is preferred.
