About the position

The Inside Sales Representative will work in an inside sales capacity for Southland Polymers, a growing plastic resin distribution company. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, prospecting new accounts, and maintaining existing customer relationships. The position offers high earnings potential for motivated individuals and requires a proactive approach to sales and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the sales team to craft and implement sales strategies
  • Court potential accounts from a list of targeted prospects
  • Cold call and discover new prospects through online and published sources
  • Aggressively follow-up on leads
  • Maintain and service own accounts
  • Independently manage a constant pipeline of prospective accounts through the sales process
  • Assist with customer service and order processing as required
  • Assist with logistics scheduling and office management tasks as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling technical products
  • Extensive experience prospecting and/or cold-calling new accounts
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Self-starter with an aggressive and hard-working attitude
