About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty plays a crucial role in customer acquisition and sales growth. This position is primarily focused on prospecting for new clients, which includes making multiple outbound calls to potential customers, following up on leads generated from various sources such as digital campaigns, conferences, and referrals. The representative will be responsible for understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions, ensuring that prospective clients are well-informed about the services offered by the company. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, as the representative will need to create and maintain a database of potential clients, track performance metrics, and collaborate closely with the field sales team to maximize sales opportunities. In addition to making calls and engaging with clients, the Inside Sales Representative will also be tasked with presenting information effectively, answering questions from potential clients, and following up on inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and will be comfortable interacting with a diverse range of clients. The role demands a self-motivated individual who is goal-oriented and can manage their time efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment. A college degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/Salesforce, are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Making multiple outbound calls to new or potential clients
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective clients
  • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
  • Working closely with field sales team to sell to clients
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Other duties as assigned that facilitate sales success

Requirements

  • Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred
  • Comfortable making calls and talking to new people all day
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Persuasive, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and self-directed
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
