About the position

The Inside Sales Representative (Bilingual: English & Spanish) is responsible for driving sales growth of the company's diverse range of products and services within a designated geographical area. This role focuses on leveraging industry knowledge to engage with existing and potential customers, making outbound calls, processing orders, and providing quotes. The representative will act as a key point of contact for customer interactions, aiming to establish and maintain strong relationships while promoting the company's value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with new, existing, and potential customers to build relationships.
  • Make outbound sales calls, including cold calls, to hunt for new business.
  • Sell the company's Core 4 Product Categories: Insulation, Roofing, Gypsum (Drywall), and Siding.
  • Develop and implement strategic growth strategies for customer accounts.
  • Utilize product knowledge and market awareness to represent the company's offerings effectively.
  • Acquire knowledge of market conditions and competitive landscape to navigate negotiations.
  • Act as a key contact for sales quoting, managing orders, and order confirmations.
  • Educate customers on market trends and challenges, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to strategize on market share growth.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of sales experience with a focus on outbound calls/cold calling.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
  • Experience in the building products industry is helpful.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass drug test and background verifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English

  • Knowledge of the building products industry
