About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at Angi is responsible for expanding the network of service providers by selling digital advertising campaigns and lead generation services. This role involves outreach to service providers, overcoming objections, and guiding them through the sales process while meeting sales targets. The position is remote and requires a strong passion for sales and helping businesses succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Outreach to service providers via phone to discuss Angi's value proposition and products.
  • Make up to 200 dials a day to build momentum for sales goals.
  • Overcome objections and negotiate advertising solutions while building trust with service providers.
  • Coach service providers on building life-long consumer relationships with homeowners.
  • Research service providers using internal notes and public information.
  • Prospect customers assigned quickly through provided leads in CRM.
  • Guide service providers through the background check authorization and approval process.
  • Meet and exceed required sales targets for units sold weekly and contract value sold biweekly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in sales, especially inside sales, is a plus.
  • Motivation to exceed sales goals and strive to be the best.
  • Strong communication skills, including building rapport and active listening.
  • Desire to contribute to the bottom line and seek feedback for improvement.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently while paying attention to detail.
  • Strong initiative for continuous accuracy, quality, and timeliness of information.
  • Ability to hear and talk on a phone headset for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Proven computer aptitude including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Individual hardline high-speed internet connection required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Average annual earnings of $70,000 - $80,000, with top earners making up to $200,000.
