About the position

The Inside Sales Representative at Magontec is responsible for maintaining customer accounts, providing administrative support to the sales team, and coordinating orders with international colleagues. This role requires a motivated individual who can engage with customers, process orders, and report on market insights while supporting the sales team in acquiring new customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support existing customers through phone calls and emails to provide solutions to their commercial issues.
  • Assist the sales team in the acquisition of new customers.
  • Develop a strong understanding of products to provide accurate information and answer customer questions.
  • Handle various customer inquiries, process orders, and ensure timely and accurate responses to customers.
  • Manage the sales order cycle from order placement through to delivery.
  • Track and report on customer sales activities, order status, and customer interactions, as well as general industry trends and competitor products.
  • Support and maintain internal CRM and ERP systems, as well as internet-based customer portals.
  • Assist with customer and market data evaluations and statistics.
  • Regular communication with the international team.
  • Provide administrative support in travel planning, document review, data processing, and warehouse inventory scheduling.

Requirements

  • 0 - 2 years working experience, preferably in inside sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence customers.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP software and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Basic understanding of technical and physical principles and dependencies is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with inside sales in the plumbing or HVAC industry is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
