About the position

The Inside Sales Representative for Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) at Wright Tool Company is responsible for managing customer accounts, generating sales leads, and providing excellent customer service. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, and ensuring customer satisfaction to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and services to meet their requirements.
  • Manage customer accounts and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
  • Conduct cold calls and search online bid board systems.
  • Provide prompt and accurate information to customers regarding products, pricing, and availability.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the product team to stay updated on the latest product offering and technologies.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Work with contracts and purchasing to ensure up to date pricing on core and non-core vendors.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions and customer preferences.
  • Recommend product improvements and new product introductions based on customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the hand and power tools industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of market trends and customer needs in the tools sector.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Federal Government or Department of Defense past experience recommended but not required.
