About the position

Sales Agents receive inbound telephone calls (no outbound calling) as a result of various ADT marketing and partner campaigns. Engage with interested Security and Smart Home customers to close sales and schedule install appointments with our ADT Field employees. The role involves answering new and existing customer phone calls while following sales processes, consultatively working with customers to close sales by gathering information, determining needs, and scheduling installation appointments. Additionally, ensuring customer satisfaction by determining needs and transferring calls to the appropriate party for resolution, performing follow-up including quotes, information requests, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Answer new and existing customer phone calls while following sales processes.
  • Consultatively work with customers to close sales by gathering information, determining needs and scheduling installation appointments.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by determining needs and transferring calls to the appropriate party for resolution, performing follow-up including quotes, information requests, etc.

Requirements

  • One year of sales experience preferred.
  • Proven sales ability and closing skills.
  • Strong listening skills used to conduct needs analysis.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while speaking to prospects.
