Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities primarily through marketing lead follow-up, outbound cold/warm calling, email communication and social media
  • Effectively manage timely and diligent follow up through phone, email and social communications with prospects
  • Develop a geographic territory, cultivate new relationships, educating prospects, and ultimately driving new sales opportunities
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and work with the Regional Sales Manager for further development and closure
  • Work with the Inside Sales Manager to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet qualified opportunity targets
  • Present and demonstrate Fidelis solutions/services to information security experts
  • Understand customer needs, requirements and effectively demonstrate strong knowledge of Fidelis' products
  • Maintain basic level of relevant industry knowledge

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a business development or inside sales role in technology
  • Software sales within a geographic region; network/endpoint security software experience a plus
  • Proven track record in outbound prospecting, inside sales and lead generation for Fortune 1000 size companies
  • Excellent ability to work/communicate effectively in a team, across the organization and with external customers
  • Experience in working with Salesforce.com CRM, LinkedIn.com, Discover.org Sales Engagement Platforms like Outreach.io or SalesLoft preferred
  • Passionate about technology, business, and winning
