About the position

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) at Cleveland Brothers is a pivotal role designed to develop entry-level sales professionals into successful sales experts. This position involves both telephone and in-person sales, focusing on establishing and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized construction and agriculture customers. The ISR aims to increase sales of equipment and services while providing exceptional customer support and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a large account base in the assigned territory to grow sales and rental of machines and attachments.
• Promote all aspects of the dealership by selling machines, attachments, rentals, and promoting parts, service, and Customer Support Agreements.
• Conduct needs analysis to determine individual customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Develop strong positive relationships with customers and fellow employees to ensure success.
• Partner with Field Sales Representatives to schedule and conduct off-site demos and other necessary field sales functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year industry-related experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year retail sales or other sales experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of sales skills necessary to sell premium priced products.
• Ability to develop and maintain product knowledge of Caterpillar and Cleveland Brothers solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic sales skills and some industrial background (preferably in Construction, Agricultural or similar).
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to assist customers.
