About the position

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling and supporting a full line of products to assigned customers while exploring new customer segments for potential growth. This role emphasizes solution selling to drive top-line growth and requires maintaining strong relationships with customers and territory managers.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and support the full line of products to assigned customers.
  • Explore new customer segments for expansion possibilities.
  • Own the relationship with assigned customers and TM book of business.
  • Prioritize solution selling to drive top-line growth.
  • Proficiently use SAP and SalesForce.com to ensure order accuracy and fast customer response times.
  • Enter warehouse and direct orders, RMAs, and credit memos.
  • Handle inbound call/email flow with urgency.
  • Make outbound calls to core customers, house accounts, and prospects to effectively communicate PrimeSource's value proposition.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems with accuracy and urgency.
  • Decide when/how to connect customers with other PrimeSource support resources.
  • Utilize category manager knowledge to sell the full offering of products available through PSBP.
  • Conduct regular touch points with customers to maintain current business and expand PrimeSource's share of wallet.
  • Interact with customers through mobile methods to maintain consistent connection.
  • Stay organized and knowledgeable of current market conditions, campaigns, and pricing.
  • Coordinate with other resources within PrimeSource as needed to better serve customers and territory managers.
  • Create sales quotes including pricing, credit terms, discounts, and service commitments to obtain orders or program business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Liberal Arts preferred, or 2 - 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of CRM systems, Company Reporting Software, Internet Software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
  • Knowledge of I-Pad use is helpful; SAP experience is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with competitive pricing across product categories.
