This role is pivotal in driving sales and enhancing the company's reputation through effective customer engagement and relationship management. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities, managing customer inquiries, and closing sales to meet quarterly quotas. This position is based onsite in Allegan, MI, and does not offer remote work options. The successful candidate will work closely with the Territory Sales Representative to expand the customer base and achieve sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through CRM Data Base and CMD/Dodge leads follow-up, outbound cold calls, quotes and emails
  • Responsible for achieving sales targets and improving goodwill of the Company
  • Informs customer of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by the customer
  • Represents the Company in resolving customer issues or complaints
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Perform virtual AIA continuing education lunch in learn meetings weekly
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Work with Territory Sales Rep

Requirements

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Technical / Mechanical aptitude a plus
  • Strong phone presence and experience in high volume outbound sales calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • CRM knowledge and experience a plus
  • 4-year degree in Business preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 2-year+ experience in Sales a plus
